I want to install a new pioneer head unit in 98 Civic DX, any weird problems I might run into? - car head unit installation

I will install a standard-size unit from Pioneer in my new 98 Civic DX. I have the installation kit for Circuit City. Are there any unusual problems that can be launched to take the old or something? I am an electrician, but I've never been a head unit though in a car.
